So, how’d the first night go? Shannon and I drank a bunch of your beer last night, thank you, and made some crazy plans of our own. Hope you felt better this morning than I did…
On that note, had any potatoes yet? mmm, yummy! Let me know, I can always make you some more!

WE ARE SO, SO PROUD OF YOU MATT!!!
Your call today meant so much to us :)
Find a bird and listen for its song each morning.
When you’re done, you’ll hear the same bird and think back to this time.
This journey will shape the rest of your life.
Have fun in each town and in the woods on your way to each one.
Looking forward to following your adventure.

Hey Matt, It was great to finally get in touch with you today. I am so excited for you. Liven’ the dream. It breaks my heart that I probably won’t make Trail Daze. I need to stay focus for at least a little while. Thank you for calling me and letting me know you started. I look forward to following along. P.S. Stay away from those cereal killers. ;)

    Hey Matt,

Are you with Buckeye, Wimbledon and Smile Train now? I’m dreaming up a fantastic package of goodies for Harper’s Ferry (for the Quad State Challenge!), but I gotta know when you all will be pulling in. If you can reply briefly: Where/when are you? Where/when are they? How’s it going? Rain slowing you down? Ah, flooded cow pastures…

Hey Matt! How’s it goin? Still haven’t been able to catch you and hike with you, but hopefully I’ll see you again sometime, maybe riding some slopes like we were talking about! I’m probably about 7-8 days behind you, in Falls Village, CT on 8-04-2009

Hey Matt! I am jealous that you are still out there. I did have Giardia and it forced me off. It took me over a month to fully recover once I was home. I can’t wait for your updates. I have still been on different adventures around the country so I haven’t been bored. I’m headed back to NY tomorrow! Keep me updated on where you are! Have a blast!

Matt, mailed your food out last night to Caratunk 04925 and Monson 04464 using the large flat rate boxes. Look for motivating comments on bottom of boxes. :-)
